Is it possible to eat coffee berries?
The pulp of coffee berries is usually used by farmers for fertilizer, but dried berries also make a kind of drink — cascara (from the Spanish cascara - peel or peel). Cascara tastes a little like coffee and rather resembles compote or berry tea, but dried berries also contain (albeit in small amounts) caffeine: about 100 milligrams per liter of the drink.
